Frankie Jones wakes up in an alley, disoriented, in pain, and with almost no memory of how he got there. A dead body lies nearby, but before Frankie can make sense of what happened, a mysterious stranger named Salvius delivers an impossible truth: Frankie is already dead.

As Frankie begins to accept his new reality, he learns that death isn't quite the end. Some spirits remain tied to Earth because they have unfinished business. For Frankie, that journey leads him to Forest Glen Cemetery, where he meets Amelia Fournier, a young woman who has also died—and who cannot move on.

But Amelia's death was no accident. Her murder has left her trapped between worlds, and Frankie discovers that their fates are now connected. Together, they must uncover what happened to Amelia before either of them can move on.
